Mark Krantz, CHA - Founder, Chief Executive Officer - Broker Associate
At the core of our company's leadership is more than thirty years of hospitality experience. Our founder is a Certified Hotel Administrator who has worked on the resort side of the business in the United States with industry giants such as The Marriott Corporation and ITT Sheraton. Conversely, he has experience with smaller hotel groups and at independent AAA-rated Four-Diamond luxury properties. His professional experience doesn't end, however, in North America.
Prior to establishing Keys to the Lake, he served as Vice President of European Hotel Operations with the Regis Hotel Corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Working in this capacity exposed Mr. Krantz to Radisson SAS Four-Star properties, and Europe's Old-World style hospitality. Furthermore, he is accustomed to working with diverse groups of people, as evidenced by his participation as Chairman of the Board of Directors of an international non-profit organization with offices in several European countries.
Mark was first introduced to the industry as a teenager, when his family purchased Point Breeze Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. In the late 1970's he went to work at Marriott's Tan-Tar-A Resort where his formal management training began. During that initial period, Mark worked as a manager in the Estates Division, overseeing the needs of individual Estate/Home Owner's whose homes were part of Tan-Tar-A's Estates Rental Program.
Although grateful for the various property types and complexities Krantz had the privilege to experience while working for larger corporations, he had always desired to start his own company.
In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, Mark began to lay the ground work to see that dream become a reality. By January 2004, Keys to the Lake was born. Today, Keys to the Lake maintains operations in every aspect of Property Management, and Real Estate Sales and Service, in the Lake of the Ozarks region.
Mark has been happily married to Terry, his wife, for thirty three years. They are the parents of two grown children.
Stephen relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks from Los Angeles, California in early 2011 to begin working with his father, Mark. A management veteran in the high-end restaurant industry in Beverly Hills, CA for many years, Stephen earned the distinguished title of Certified Sommelier in addition to his management responsibilities while there.
Now a vital part of the daily operations at Keys to the Lake, Stephen’s primary function is that of our Corporate Associations Manager. Additionally, in 2011, he took on the responsibilities of a COA Management with the Osage National Condominiums account, and in January 2012 as the Asset Protection Manager / Liaison, with one of our newer corporate accounts. As a company stock holder, Stephen stays actively involved in the on-going marketing goals and responsibilities of Keys to the Lake Lodging Co., LLC.
Stephen is the proud owner of a three year old American Pit-Bull Terrier rescue, loves writing and performing music, and is an avid boater and golfer. Stephen has acclimated very comfortably to the Lake Lifestyle after the busy pace of LA and enjoys everything the area has to offer.
Kathleen Hoefer, Cedar Heights, Loch Haven, and Miramar Manager
Katie Hoefer is the Association Manager at Cedar Heights, Miramar and Loch Haven Condominiums. She is a licensed realtor with 11 years experience in Real Estate and Property Management. Prior to coming to Keys to the Lake, Katie was working at Ft Leonard Wood with a company tasked with resolving building discrepancies and scheduling all service work on the Fort's physical structures, roads and grounds. She believes that being prepared and informed for all situations contributes to maintaining the value of property and the relationships she has with the property owners.
Katie moved to the Lake from Rolla, Missouri with her son Cole and Brutis her "second child", a Maltese/shitzu mix in the Spring of 2011. Her son is very active in soccer and football and they are both excited about the athletic opportunities here at the Lake of the Ozarks. The family loves being on the water, swimming and boating. They also love to travel and Katie is passionate about cooking; Cole and Brutis are, on the other hand, mostly passionate about eating.
Brian brings a multi-dimensional aspect to our Keys to the Lake Management Team, which includes professionalism, experience and academic excellence. Holding a BS in Accountancy from Lincoln University he graduated Cum Laude with academic honors from Alpha Kappa Mu, honor society and received the Exceptional Skills Achievement Award as well the MO Department of Education, State Academic Excellence Award in Physics.
He has worked with a local CPA firm in Camdenton, MO and attained numerous Achievements / Awards and Honors while working in the Marine Industry here at Lake of the Ozarks from 1982 until 2005. Most recently, Brian held the position of Director of Operations for a local Missouri Corporation, which thrived under his leadership. That company was recently sold due in large part to its financial success and subsequently, was relocated to Texas.
Brian raised three children here and has always called the Ozarks his home. He loves the heritage he has been blessed with living here at the Lake. He intends to remain a faithful resident of the Tri-County / Lake Area and looks forward to being an integral part of Keys to the Lake's organization.
Andy Gibson is personally and passionately committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with both property owners and renters. His extensive experience in construction and customer service, along with his Missouri Real Estate agent license, provides the firm foundation for his exceptional knowledge and service to Keys to the Lake customers. He is out-going, assertive, and friendly, traits that combine to make Andy a likeable guy who gets things done.
Andy relocated to the Lake in 2009 with his wife, Kaci, who grew up in Camdenton and their son AJ. Andy is ready, willing and able to assist you at your convenience with any long-term rental property questions or needs you may have.
A native of Lake of the Ozarks, Danielle Box knows the area like the back of her hand. She's explored everything the Lake and its surrounding country has to offer and is happy to share her love for mid-Missouri's vacation paradise with visitors and guests.
Danielle, an overachiever, began working at a resort front desk when she was fourteen. Over the last 13 years she's had progressively more responsible positions in all aspects of hotel management and hospitality customer service. Her professionalism and attention to the details of a guest's experience make a great first and lasting impression. With that background and experience as a foundation, she makes it her goal to see that vacation guests, long term owners, and tenants feel welcome and cared for.
Danielle is married and has two young daughters whom she is looking forward to raising at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Sherri Weeg brings not only the depth of Real Estate Sales and Marketing expertise to Keys to the Lake, but also several years of Association Management oversight, a perspective gained by serving as a Board Member for several years on Condominium Owner Association(s) Board of Directors.
Sherri has a history in the Lake of the Ozarks Real Estate Community over the past decade as one of the Top Real Estate Sales Professionals and Performers in our Marketplace.
Sherri has been a licensed Agent / Broker since April 2001. By year-end 2001, Sherri was celebrated at the Las Vegas convention held by GMAC Real Estate, having been recognized for their National "Rookie of the Year" designation! Sherri then continued to maintain her growth curve by earning the coveted "Zenith Award" ($10,000,000 Annual Sales) during her second year. Since 2002, Sherri has topped that $10,000,000 annual sales volume goal two additional times (2005 / 2006) and has averaged nearly $5,000,000 dollars in annual real estate sales during for the outlying years since 2001, at Lake of the Ozarks. Prior to joining the Keys to the Lake staff in 2009, Sherri served on the Board of a COA in Osage Beach for more than five years, and currently oversees the management of three Owner Associations for KTTL.

Stacey Coats sales and management skills, along with her creative qualities and commitment to excellence, hold valuable Real Estate claim for Keys to the Lake.
Stacey earned her Real Estate license in 1999 while assisting with a villa/town home development in the Village of the Four Seasons. Having worked closely with the general contractor of that development she gained important knowledge that she uses to this day for the benefit of her Real Estate Clients. She has had opportunity to exercise her creative side, while working in tandem with her husband, on home building projects for her family here at the Lake. Stacey possesses the knowledge, experience and edge to provide you with a most satisfying Real Estate experience. She has received numerous and distinguished awards during her career as a Realtor, including top sales producer and listing agent. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management.
Stacey and her husband relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks from Michigan in 1993. Since that time she has owned and operated multiple businesses in the Lake area including restaurants, property management and property development. In 1994, they started their first business Cozy Coney Cafe'. In 2006, Chicago Brothers Pizza & Pub was developed and most recently, they opened Batter's Box Eatery (summer 2010).
This depth of experience in business operations, management, sales and customer relations have proven a vital asset to Stacey in her Real Estate endeavors.
They have two wonderful children, one currently attending college and one in high school.
Stacey says she has found the Lake of the Ozarks to be a great place to enjoy life and raise children. In Stacey's spare time, she enjoys golf, boating and relaxing by the Lake.
A native of St. Louis, Craig Lewin moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1986 after he saw the opportunity for future growth and development of the area. While being an active member in both the Missouri and National Association of Realtors for the past 20 years, Craig has also been a Certified Real Estate Appraiser since 1989. As President and CEO of Arrowhead Building Corporation, he has purchased, developed, and marketed resort, commercial, and residential properties throughout the United States. Craig's notable success in the building industry, his enormous energy and ability to understand a client's personal needs and expectations combine to make him a Realtor our clients have come to trust with their real estate investments.
Mike Delmotte Groundskeeping Manager

If Keys to the Lake has ever had an employee who best gives the impression of calm, steady strength it's Mike Delmotte. KTTL found and hired Mike as the Groundskeeping Manager in March 2010. And what a great addition to the Keys to the Lake team he's been!
Before coming to Keys to the Lake Mike had a landscaping business, did concrete work and worked for Truesdale Fence. He loves to cook a lot more than he loves to work though. One of his absolutely favorite things to do is have people over, throw a bunch of food in the smoker, hang out outside, play horseshoes and wait for his guests to tell him how good the food is. Thank goodness he works so hard because he likes to eat as much as he likes to cook. He is happily married to his wife Wendy and is the proud father of three children.
Stethan Smart, Groundskeeper
Loch Haven and Miramar
Stethan Smart is the youngest member of our staff, but he may have more work experience than some other KTTL employees who are older than he is. He started his own lawn care business years ago when he was barely old enough to drive. He still does 6 or 7 yards regularly when he's not working as the groundskeeper at Miramar and Loch Haven Condominiums and still has energy to spare. Though he's just 21 years old now, believe it or not, he also worked for three summers at Big Surf, was a server at Black Bear Lodge, TanTarA, and served yummy treats at Cold Stone Creamery. No one can say the young man doesn't know how to hustle at work. He started work at Keys when he was 19 years old. Mark was a bit hesitant about his youthfulness, but his work ethic was unquestionable. He's never regretted that hiring decision.
